About the role

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial insurance market.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Analyze client businesses to assess their insurance requirements and risks.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Oversee the policy administration process, including policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development in the commercial insurance industry.
  • Possess or willing to obtain necessary insurance licenses and certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor insurance solutions to meet clients' needs.
