About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare dining and serving areas before and after meal service.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, dining areas, and food service equipment.
  • Stock and organize food, supplies, and storage areas.
  • Receive, unload, and properly store food deliveries and kitchen supplies.
  • Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Properly dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented camp environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Camp Manager.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • No previous kitchen experience required—we will train the right candidate.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to pass: Pre-employment non-DOT drug screening, Criminal background check, Fit-for-duty medical evaluation
