About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up and operate all machines and equipment in the assigned work center
Adjust equipment as necessary to produce acceptable products
Set up and run a variety of trim presses
Verify product quality using manufacturing prints and gauges
Work in crew-serviced drop hammers, die forgers, and auxiliary equipment arranged in work cells
Wear required personal protective equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous forging experience preferred
Ability to interpret manufacturing prints, drawings, work order packets, and written, oral, or diagram-form instructions
Ability to set up equipment and produce acceptable products
Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 lbs. safely
Ability to work in a crew and fast-paced environment
Must maintain a safe work environment, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
Must wear proper personal protective equipment as required
