About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform motor, drive, conveyor component assemblies and subassemblies from work orders, assembly drawings, and production paperwork.
Gather, identify, and verify parts and materials required for production orders.
Operate saw equipment to cut materials to specified lengths and dimensions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to assemble products and verify specifications.
Inspect completed assemblies and perform quality checks.
Work with team leads and other departments to resolve assembly, documentation, or material-related issues.
Collaborate across production areas to ensure efficient workflow and timely order completion.
Assist with stacking, staging, and preparing completed products for transfer to crating or shipping.
Work safely, comply with safety procedures, maintain a clean environment, and perform 5S tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and work instructions.
Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate production equipment.
Ability to remain focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks.
Team player with strong communication skills.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to changing business needs.
Ability to safely lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
1+ year of assembly experience preferred.
