About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform motor, drive, conveyor component assemblies and subassemblies from work orders, assembly drawings, and production paperwork.
  • Gather, identify, and verify parts and materials required for production orders.
  • Operate saw equipment to cut materials to specified lengths and dimensions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to assemble products and verify specifications.
  • Inspect completed assemblies and perform quality checks.
  • Work with team leads and other departments to resolve assembly, documentation, or material-related issues.
  • Collaborate across production areas to ensure efficient workflow and timely order completion.
  • Assist with stacking, staging, and preparing completed products for transfer to crating or shipping.
  • Work safely, comply with safety procedures, maintain a clean environment, and perform 5S tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and work instructions.
  • Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate production equipment.
  • Ability to remain focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to changing business needs.
  • Ability to safely lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
  • 1+ year of assembly experience preferred.
