About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the organization's North American shared services functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, expense administration, and vendor management
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal control standards
  • Direct preparation of management reports and audit support documentation
  • Drive process standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and ERP optimization
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics
  • Partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, financial planning, organizational growth, and business transformation
  • Build, lead, and develop accounting and shared services teams
  • Manage departmental budgets, workforce planning, risk management, and organizational change initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing shared service teams covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, expense administration, and vendor management
  • Experience in a multi-entity, multi-location, or complex organizational environment
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement and transformation initiatives
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Deep understanding of shared services operating models and best practices
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
  • Experience managing audits, internal controls, and compliance programs
  • Ability to travel 30%+ across CMCO's U.S. footprint
