About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up and operate CNC machines and related production equipment
  • Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed
  • Complete production assignments according to work orders and specifications
  • Perform and document required quality checks
  • Read manufacturing prints, drawings, and work order packets
  • Use measuring tools to verify that finished products meet specifications
  • Check and adjust coolant concentrations as needed
  • Change or replace tooling
  • Troubleshoot and correct minor machine or production issues
  • Assist with assembly, drilling, tapping, grinding, painting, or handwork as required
  • Complete required production forms and documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of six months of CNC machine operation experience
  • Experience setting up, operating, and making basic adjustments to CNC machines
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools
  • Ability to read and follow manufacturing prints, drawings, work orders, and production instructions
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor machine or production issues
  • Ability to safely lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required personal protective equipment
  • Experience with SAP ERP is a plus and not a requirement.
