About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up and operate CNC machines and related production equipment
- Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed
- Complete production assignments according to work orders and specifications
- Perform and document required quality checks
- Read manufacturing prints, drawings, and work order packets
- Use measuring tools to verify that finished products meet specifications
- Check and adjust coolant concentrations as needed
- Change or replace tooling
- Troubleshoot and correct minor machine or production issues
- Assist with assembly, drilling, tapping, grinding, painting, or handwork as required
- Complete required production forms and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of six months of CNC machine operation experience
- Experience setting up, operating, and making basic adjustments to CNC machines
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing prints, drawings, work orders, and production instructions
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine or production issues
- Ability to safely lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required personal protective equipment
- Experience with SAP ERP is a plus and not a requirement.
