About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, specify, and procure equipment, materials, hardware, and software for testing products
Create accurate test specifications and develop efficient test procedures
Develop, implement, and maintain automated test solutions
Maintain test fixture documentation (CAD drawings, schematics, BOMs)
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and departmental requirements
Serve as a technical resource to manufacturing and cross-functional teams
Collaborate with vendors to resolve test and quality issues
Oversee technicians or associates supporting test engineering activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
2+ years of related experience
Proficiency in automated test systems
Ability to operate electronic test equipment and measuring devices
Familiarity with CAD tools, schematics, and documentation systems
Understanding of ISO and quality management systems
Experience or familiarity in NI LabVIEW for automated test development is a plus
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and safety instructions
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
