About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Flex between departments based on staffing needs, production schedules, or priority changes.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements 5S, and company policies as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth handoffs between departments.
- Participate in cross‑training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components and finished products according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices safely and accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material‑handling equipment (training provided if needed).
- Assist with basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, grinding, or machine operation.
- Use of proper processes, procedures and OMS instructions, cycle counting procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties on machines & equipment as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- 2 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred
- Certification for sit-down forklift, Raymond and use of overhead crane or the willingness to obtain via training
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
