Tester II

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Examine and test control products, components, and standard panels, drives, motors, wires, etc. for flaws, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform and complete a final inspection of the product and prep work prior to sending a product to shipping or stock.
- Maintain technical competency, and technical knowledge of current and new products, and remain current in technology and changes in the industry.
- Perform soldering and de-soldering of circuit boards and small assemblies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires one year of college coursework in electronics; or a high school diploma or equivalent and three plus years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to operate a variety of standard business machines.
- Ability to operate a variety of testing equipment and hand tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, sinadder, spectrum analyzers, and soldering equipment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
