About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions about product features, benefits, and availability
Engage with consumers to understand their needs and preferences
Demonstrate and explain merchandise and suggest suitable options
Maintain visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards
Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, and other inventory locations
Perform cash register transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program connections
Receive, handle, replenish, and process incoming and outgoing product flow accurately and efficiently
Support the Store Leadership team and contribute to customer service, teamwork, and store profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need

No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred
2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
Skill operating inventory and Point of Sale (POS) systems and other retail software tools
16 years of age or older
Ability to communicate clearly with others
Ability to work in a frequently active and physical environment
Ability to frequently adjust or move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Availability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally and according to business trends or forecasts
