About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Minimum experience requirements: 12 months in Rank with the same type/size of vessel.
- Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Overall command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Plan and execute voyages efficiently.
- Supervise cargo operations (loading, stowage, securing, discharge).
- Lead crew, enforce safety procedures, and conduct drills.
- Handle emergencies and maintain all documentation & reporting.
- Holder of a valid COC (STWC Reg II/2) with verification.
- Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
- Experience with a multi-cultural working environment.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in the written and spoken English language.
- Safety culture and mindset.
