About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

In charge of engine room operations and maintenance of all machinery.
Ensure safe, efficient operation of main engine, auxiliaries, and electrical systems.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs.
Monitor fuel consumption, lube oil, and engine performance.
Lead and manage engine crew, assign duties, and conduct training.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

12 months in rank with Engine type (4 stroke)
Experience on Electronic engines is preferred.
Holder of a valid COC (STWC Reg III/2)
Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
Good communication skills.
Fluent in the written and spoken English language.
