About the role
- Serve as 3rd Engineer on Supramax bulk carrier vessels for Columbia Shipmanagement.
- Ensure compliance with COC and STCW certifications and verifications.
- Work within a multicultural crew and demonstrate leadership and communication skills.
- Operate and support vessels equipped with cargo cranes (experience required).
- Promote and adhere to safety culture and wellbeing onboard.
- Accept short-term contract deployments and CBA terms.
Requirements
- Holder of valid COC (STCW Reg III/1) with verification.
- Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
- Experience with multicultural working environment.
- Experience on Bulker vessels equipped with cargo crane
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English language.
- Safety culture and mindset.
- Minimum experience requirements: 6 months in Rank on the same type/size of vessel.
- Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.
- Supramax size vessels experience is required.
