About the role

  • The Night Auditor will responsible for overseeing the financial operations during the night shift, ensuring accurate accounting of daily transactions, and providing support for the finance team during the voyage.
  • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions that occur during the night shift during the voyage;
  • Conduct audits of daily financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards during the voyage;
  • Handle guest billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies during the voyage;
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports for management and other departments during the voyage;
  • Monitor security measures and report any incidents or concerns during the night shift during the voyage;
  • Provide support to the finance team during the voyage as needed, including data entry and financial record-keeping during the voyage.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred);
  • Previous experience in night audit or finance-related roles is advantageous during the voyage;
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel during the voyage;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping during the voyage;
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills during the voyage;
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts during the voyage;
  • Experience in other cruise companies, in cruise vessels of similar size (150000 GT/3400 pax) is a plus;
  • Understanding of security protocols and the ability to report incidents during the voyage.
  • Documentation Requirements:
  • Valid Passport;
  • Valid Seamans Book
  • STCW Certification.
