Territory Sales Manager
Columbia Forest ProductsTerritory Sales Manager responsible for leading sales operations and coaching sales personnel to grow their individual territories. Collaborates with cross-functional teams for alignment and profitable growth.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage sales activities across the assigned region to achieve revenue and performance targets
- Develop and oversee regional sales budgets while guiding territory representatives in building and executing their individual plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic growth objectives
- Train, coach, and develop outside sales representatives to enhance performance and professional growth
- Respond to customer inquiries and sales opportunities originating from regional offices, mills, and inside sales teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners
- Partner with inside sales to provide accurate product pricing, availability, and manufacturing lead times
- Identify and escalate large-scale or strategic opportunities to the National Accounts Sales Manager
- Work closely with operations, sales leadership, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of sales management experience, ideally within manufacturing or building materials
- 3+ years of experience working within distribution sales channels
