About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and manage comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules across MEP and IT systems
Define and oversee testing protocols, including factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and integrated systems testing (IST)
Coordinate closely with contractors, OEM vendors, and third-party commissioning agents
Lead end-to-end testing of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, life safety, and controls
Validate uptime and reliability standards (e.g., Tier III/Tier IV, where applicable)
Maintain all commissioning documentation, including test scripts, results, and issue logs
Track and manage deficiencies (punch list items) through resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in commissioning, construction, or operations within data centers, mission-critical facilities, or similar environments
Hands-on experience with commissioning electrical and mechanical systems at scale
Experience working with OEM vendors, contractors, and third-party commissioning agents
Familiarity with redundancy standards (N, N+1, 2N) and uptime requirements
Experience with BMS/SCADA systems and integrated controls
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
