About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with clients to understand financial goals, challenges, and priorities
  • Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for client leadership
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
  • Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Evaluate financial processes and recommend improvements to support accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and client-ready materials
  • Communicate with client stakeholders and internal team members
  • Support consistent service delivery across multiple clients or projects
  • Contribute to shared tools, templates, and best practices
  • Stay current on financial trends and best practices relevant to clients
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
  • 3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or a related role
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or advisory work preferred
  • Experience in school district finance preferred
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting concepts
  • Experience working with clients or stakeholders preferred
  • Must successfully complete a background and reference check
