About the role

Design and build novel products and features with a focus on exceptional patient-facing experiences
Collaborate with product, design, data, business intelligence, and clinical teams to build experiences and services
Improve the quality, reliability, and speed of core products and services
Propose and implement changes to data models, core architecture, and codebase
Develop across all levels of the technical stack
Deliver patient-centered solutions that increase cancer screening adherence and improve health outcomes at scale
Contribute to projects such as smarter onboarding funnels, modular Cancer Risk Assessment sections, marketing site modernization, and data-informed product iteration

4+ years of industry experience as a software engineer (or equivalent role)
Experience building and launching numerous features, products or systems successfully into production
Experience with modern web stacks
Commitment to rigorous engineering practices: code reviews, automated testing, logging, monitoring, alerting
Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical collaborators
Experience defining product roadmaps in collaboration with Product, Design, Researchers and stakeholders
Experience building and iterating based on user feedback and data-driven metrics
Nice to have: experience with Python, Django, Typescript, React, REST APIs, AWS, and SQL
Nice to have: experience acting as a technical lead for teams or projects of 1-3 engineers
No background or expertise in healthcare is required
