Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a small team of test engineers
Set the direction for the test area
Advance new test methods
Define strong test strategies that support innovation projects
Collaborate with R&D, product management, quality, and other stakeholders
Define, develop, and implement new test methods and setups
Generate robust data and support sound design decisions
Prioritize resources across projects
Support stakeholders with technical input
Drive processes, standards, and QMS within test engineering
Support and develop the team, creating clarity around priorities and deliverables
Foster a collaborative environment focusing on technical curiosity and continuous improvement
Act as a senior sparring partner in innovation projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong technical insight into test engineering and method development
Motivated to create structure, direction, and engagement around a specialized team
Strong informal leadership skills or senior technical experience preferred
Enjoy staying close to the technical work and contributing actively to testing activities
Thrive in an innovation-driven R&D environment
Degree in engineering or relevant technical discipline
Solid experience in test engineering, method development, statistics, and laboratory-based work
Leadership experience or clear potential in people leadership
Experience from medical device development or regulated industries
Structured approach to prioritization, stakeholder management, and team development
Fluent in English
