About the role

  • Lead transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes across Comfort Medical.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery for operational improvement initiatives — including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and change management.
  • Influence and coordinate diverse teams through strong communication, collaboration and operational knowledge.
  • Work closely with IT, Process Excellence, Order-to-Cash teams, and senior leadership across Comfort Medical and Coloplast to ensure projects align with strategic business goals and deliver measurable results while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.
  • Lead large scale operational improvement efforts focused on business process optimization.
  • Manage multiple improvement projects concurrently through the full project lifecycle from planning, development, launch, monitoring, and debrief facilitation to close out.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and risk assessments.
  • Create and maintain required project documentation and artifacts.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, operational leaders, IT partners, developers, and vendors to achieve project objectives within defined constraints.
  • Serve as liaison between operations teams and IT teams, clearly communicating business needs so that technology partners can deliver effective solutions.
  • Track and report project progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business and technical requirements for process improvements and system implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or related field, or 10+ years' relevant project management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within operations, healthcare or similar environment.
  • Experience coordinating with IT teams on system implementations is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering operational improvement projects from initiation through closure with demonstrated business impact.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive user adoption and change management for new processes, systems or technologies.
  • Proven expertise in process mapping and modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM).
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements from operational stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills with process mapping and project management tools (e.g. Visio, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.
