💰 $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About the role

  • Serve as an integral part of the marketing team supporting the implementation of IU events.
  • Partner with educational and product marketing teams to coordinate event logistics and planning.
  • Plan and execute a wide range of events including in-person, virtual, symposiums, surgical skills workshops/labs, dry labs, case observations, and webinars.
  • Manage event expenditure tracking and reporting.
  • Create and upkeep monthly and quarterly event and attendee reports for management analysis.
  • Manage pre- and post-event logistics, including communication with attendees and participants, and registration management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience and secondary education.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or event planning.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, i.e., healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally required.
  • Requires exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; facilitation, organizational and follow-up skills, the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks to accommodate changing needs in a fast-paced environment, and solicit input from all contributors to joint projects.
  • Maintains impeccable attention to detail and follow through.
  • Desire to learn and expand knowledge and experience in event management practices.
