About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Standardize and improve contracts to ensure clearer, more secure documents aligned with the company’s interests.
- Mitigate legal risks through document review, due diligence and regulatory compliance monitoring.
- Manage litigation matters and relationships with external law firms, ensuring control of deadlines, costs and outcomes.
- Automate and optimize legal processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Provide strategic legal counseling to internal departments, supporting business decisions with a focus on legal safeguards.
- Support corporate structuring and strengthen corporate governance practices.
- Oversee contracts, certificates and documents, ensuring compliance with deadlines and preventing operational risks.
- Promote legal best practices and reinforce a culture of compliance and adherence to internal policies.
- Facilitate communication between departments by translating complex legal topics into clear, accessible terms.
- Monitor legislative changes and market trends to ensure the company remains up to date and compliant.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in legal processes, driving greater innovation, agility and efficiency.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Solid experience in contract and civil law areas, with work experience in legal departments of large companies.
- Experience managing external law firms.
- Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), legal management systems, preparation of reports, KPIs, projects and presentations.
- Postgraduate degree in Contract Law and Civil Law is a plus.
- Advanced English: written, spoken and reading.
