About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be an active and trusted advisor and strategic partner, collaborating with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide timely expert guidance on compensation-related matters.
- Ability to pivot and manage multiple priorities when required.
- Drive competitive compensation strategies by evaluating existing programs, leading annual salary survey participation, conducting market research, benchmarking, and analyzing trends to ensure best-in-class practices.
- Lead the annual merit and bonus process and enhancements, overseeing program administration and configuring systems like Workday to ensure seamless and efficient experience.
- Enhance efficiency and compliance by developing and documenting streamlined defensible processes aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and refine the job evaluation and benchmarking process, partnering with HR and business leaders to uphold internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Spearhead key compensation projects, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and HRLT decision-makers.
- Provide support and educational opportunities to the Compensation Analyst.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of progressive experience in compensation is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including managing large databases and creating Excel charts is required.
- Experience with pay equity and pay transparency and applicable compensation labor laws is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions and trends demonstrating excellent critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Job Architecture or Job Evaluation is preferred.
- Experience with Workday and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred.
