About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist students during class laboratory or open laboratory sessions with the operation and use of nursing skills equipment and supplies.
- Answer questions regarding the physical use and function of laboratory equipment.
- Support student practice of clinical skills and procedures previously taught in lecture and laboratory settings.
- Utilize instructor-provided skills checklists to guide student practice and reinforce established course expectations.
- Assist with the setup, organization, and breakdown of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Ensure equipment is available, functional, and properly maintained for student use.
- Maintain laboratory spaces in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
- Promote safe handling and use of nursing laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with nursing faculty and program administrators to support student success.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current unrestricted Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to travel between CSN campuses as needed
