About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate and maintain a wide range of high-fidelity simulators and healthcare simulation equipment
Utilize and troubleshoot simulation software such as Laerdal LLEAP, SimCapture, KBPort, Sim2Gro, and SimX VR
Program requested healthcare simulations and prepare the physical environment, including the application of moulage to manikins to enhance realism
Align all simulation practices with the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice (HSSOBP)
Assist with the pre-briefing and debriefing process by managing audio/visual equipment
Provide scheduled maintenance and maintain equipment checklists
Act as a technical liaison for faculty and students, and communicate articulately with vendors and service providers regarding complex technical issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in a related profession as a simulation operator or a comparable role
Skilled in the use of computer software, hardware, basic applications and audio-visual equipment
Ability to travel to multi-campus sites as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional extended hours as needed.
