About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support planning and execution of all scheduled internal and external events
  • Manage deadlines for multiple events
  • Coordinate event needs with vendors, including signage, utilities, furniture, décor, and other event items
  • Track costs and report financial concerns or liabilities
  • Keep event costs within allocated budgets and communicate financial risks to the Event Director
  • Plan event details and anticipate potential problems
  • Create booth and room layouts covering traffic flow, queue space, and electrical and internet drop placement
  • Travel to manage events onsite, including setup and teardown
  • Audit event websites to ensure organizers follow brand guidelines and event services, prices, and specials are accurate
  • Champion company policies, including safety, attendance, and security
  • Report to the Manager, Events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting conventions, trade shows, festivals, sports/collectibles events, gaming events, or experiential activations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, pivot quickly, and solve problems effectively
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Self-starter who is operationally minded and self-directed
  • Collaborative with other departments
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s License required
  • Valid, unexpired passport required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
