About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support planning and execution of all scheduled internal and external events
- Manage deadlines for multiple events
- Coordinate event needs with vendors, including signage, utilities, furniture, décor, and other event items
- Track costs and report financial concerns or liabilities
- Keep event costs within allocated budgets and communicate financial risks to the Event Director
- Plan event details and anticipate potential problems
- Create booth and room layouts covering traffic flow, queue space, and electrical and internet drop placement
- Travel to manage events onsite, including setup and teardown
- Audit event websites to ensure organizers follow brand guidelines and event services, prices, and specials are accurate
- Champion company policies, including safety, attendance, and security
- Report to the Manager, Events
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of experience supporting conventions, trade shows, festivals, sports/collectibles events, gaming events, or experiential activations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, pivot quickly, and solve problems effectively
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Self-starter who is operationally minded and self-directed
- Collaborative with other departments
- Organized, with strong attention to detail
- Valid, unexpired Driver’s License required
- Valid, unexpired passport required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
