Salary
💰 $115,000 - $150,000 per year
About the role
- Own end-to-end execution of our member dinner series — sourcing venues, managing and maximizing RSVPs, coordinating logistics, and showing up ready to host.
- Travel regularly to cities across the U.S. to bring our community together IRL.
- Staff and support Collective’s presence at conferences, trade shows, and live events partnering with our partnership, marketing, and sales teams.
- Be the face of Collective in the room — warm, energetic, and a champion for our members.
- Keep our online community active and engaged through programming, conversations, and events that members actually look forward to: Pitch competitions, expert series, etc.
- Run and facilitate our Member Innovation Council — structured sessions where members share feedback that directly shapes our product and services.
- Work with our Product team to facilitate feedback sessions for PMs and PMMs.
- Identify and elevate member voices, stories, and wins.
- Be a content machine on the road — capturing photos, short videos, quotes, and stories from every event and dinner. You’re excited about creating content and contributing to our social footprint.
- Partner with our marketing team to turn community moments into social content, case studies, and member spotlights.
- Help document and share feedback and insights from events back to the broader team.
Requirements
- You’re hungry and want ownership — you want to earn your stripes and you’re not waiting for someone to hand you a playbook.
- You can coordinate an event in your sleep and get energy from it - you figure things out, ask questions, and you get it done.
- You’re a natural connector who lights up in social settings and makes people feel welcome.
- You love AI applications to make your life easier: Think tracking the results and incremental lift from your efforts (content, tracking who attended events etc.)
- You’re highly organized and can juggle 10 things at once without dropping the ball.
- You don’t mind (actually, you kind of love) being on a plane or in a new city every few weeks.
- You’re a strong communicator in person and in writing.
- You have a good eye for content and general aesthetics, you instinctively know when something is worth capturing.
- You care about the details that make an experience feel special vs. just fine.
- Bonus points: You’ve planned or coordinated events before both online and in-person.
- You have experience proving the return on investment of community and IRL events.
- You’ve run a community (Discord, Slack, subreddit, IRL group — anything.)
- You’ve worked with or for self-employed people and understand the hustle.
