About the role

  • Evolve our design process, own entire projects, and contribute to the development of a diverse design team
  • Lead Growth and Activation design to improve user activation and growth metrics
  • Deeply understand customers’ needs, business objectives, and state of the industry to imagine and bring to life paradigm-changing experiences
  • Establish a high bar for visual polish and intuitive interaction patterns
  • Clearly define customer and business problems and explore broad-to-narrow solutions with thoughtful designs
  • Ideate, design, launch, and improve products to help advance Collective’s mission
  • Work with a cross functional product development team (product managers, engineers, designers, operations, sales & marketing) to ship innovative and well-crafted experiences for scale
  • Optimize for execution velocity while maintaining a high quality bar and making tradeoffs between design choices and resources available
  • Contribute to growing a robust and refined design system

Requirements

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer
  • Demonstrated impact on product strategy and customer experience, preferably within Fintech or Consumer Tech
  • Outstanding UX capabilities and strong visual design competency, including visual, UI/UX, copy writing and systems-design
  • Experience with and a high bar for visual polish and intuitive, simple design patterns
  • Passion for turning complex problems into simple & engaging solutions
  • Innate understanding of the end-to-end design process from identifying customer needs to delivering customer experiences
  • Ability to apply consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmap
  • Strong systems thinker with the ability to connect the dots across the entire customer journey
