About the role
- Help manage the publication of content on our website, via our email distribution system and on socials;
- Draft press releases and marketing content for use across our channels
- Edit videos and podcasts for publication, both internally and externally
- Assist the Group Head of Marketing and Communications with the implementation of brand and channel developments as needed;
- Assist with the co-ordination of local sponsorship initiatives and brand campaigns;
- Manage the firm's media plan (placement of print and digital adverts, submission of sponsored content);
- Keep corporate and practice area information up to date online, eg on legal directories, membership sites and local business platforms;
- Maintain corporate pages on our website, including the homepage, About us, Life & Careers and Business Services web profiles, liaise with web developers as needed.
- Assist with the collation of engagement stats and content metrics reports / other measurement;
- Assist the Group Head of Marketing and Communications with specific marketing and communications projects on an ad-hoc basis and cover leave within the team as needed.
- Co-ordinate content and materials for quarterly firmwide updates and specific business; initiatives, eg slide packs, desktop wallpaper, infographics, videos, podcasts;
- Draft and publish news on Collaborate (our intranet);
- Maintain and develop all relevant areas of Collaborate, including the homepage, all sections in Collas Crill Group and the BD&M section – assist with the publication of resources and guides to support fee-earners and colleagues with BD and marcomms activity;
- Support and encourage the sharing of news within the BD&M team and across the group, keeping an ear to the ground on potential communications opportunities
Requirements
- Candidates will be educated to degree level and will either have gained at least 3 years' experience in marketing and communications in professional or legal services (ideally).
- They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and any experience of publishing, ideally on digital channels, would be advantageous.****You will be highly organised with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail. Capable of multi-tasking, juggling ongoing activities and prioritising.
- You will be a team player with an ability to work effectively with others. ****We are keen to speak with candidates who have a relevant degree (eg marketing or journalism).
- You may have experience of Adobe Creative software, specifically Photoshop and Rush. ****Applicants will need to have a Right to Work in Guernsey document, such as a Permanent Resident Certificate or a Family Member Permit.****
