About the role
- Convert existing B2C leads into closed sales and qualify new business leads for sales readiness
- Prospect for new B2C leads via outbound calling and email
- Make 40-50 outbound calls per day to new and existing customers to qualify for sales readiness and close sales
- Take inbound sales calls with the goal of closing sales over the phone
- Follow-up with recent purchasers to upsell products and services
- Develop B2C and B2B sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential new customers and accounts
- Identify decision makers within targeted accounts and refer to appropriate sales channels
- Collaborate with team members, managers and sales channel leaders to determine strategic sales approaches
- Generate product or service interest and leverage Becker’s value proposition to close sales
- Ensure compliance with do not call (DNC) lists
- Maintain and expand company database of new prospects using sales tools and campaigns
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and maintain product knowledge
- Attend product and service training sessions and exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Interact effectively and positively with colleagues and customers and adhere to company quality standards, policies and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or inside sales capacity required
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals to achieve sales quotas
- Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development and time management
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platform
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based programs required
