About the role
- Own configuration for Finance processes in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud aligned to Fit-to-Standard best practices
- Provide L2 support for finance-related incidents: posting errors, reconciliation issues, billing-to-GL exceptions, integration exceptions impacting financial results, and period-end defects
- Support month-end close execution by coordinating issue resolution, validating process runs, and improving close performance through standardization and defect reduction
- Support internal controls and audit readiness
- Partner with Sales/Delivery and Supply Chain analysts to ensure clean end-to-end financial impacts from billing, returns/credits, goods movements, and procurement-related postings
- Lead functional testing for finance changes
- Support SAP Public Cloud quarterly release readiness
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting operations, finance systems support, or ERP finance roles
- SAP S/4HANA experience required; SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience owning configuration and supporting business operations (L2 support)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate finance process needs into system configuration within Public Cloud constraints
- Travel 25 - 30% of the time, domestic travel
