About the role
- Full accountability for the day-to-day running of the grocery department, which consists of all non-fresh products in store.
- Contribute to maintaining a store that is exceptionally presented, welcoming, and engaging for customers, team members, and the community.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Direct leadership experience in leading, coaching, and developing a team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements.
- Ability to look ahead and energize your team to deliver with pride.
- Skills in visual merchandising, safety, compliance and stock management.
- Customer obsession to better understand a diverse customer base.
- Ability to promote a one team culture that celebrates success and prioritizes team members' health, safety, and wellbeing.
