About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, specific demos showcasing how CoLab addresses customer pain points and delivers value
  • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to solve customer problems across mechanical design and engineering use cases
  • Understand customers’ current-state workflows, pain points, and business outcomes
  • Map customer workflows to CoLab capabilities and challenge customers on new ways of working
  • Advise customers and prospects on AI possibilities in mechanical engineering
  • Partner with Product Managers on new product initiatives and share customer insights with Product
  • Instruct cross-functional teams on engineering topics
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to improve go-to-market strategy and customer experience
  • Map design review and engineering workflows and define adoptable target-state processes
  • Lead change management and durable deployment of new engineering ways of working
  • Deploy and tune CoLab AI capabilities against customer standards, checklists, and design guidelines
  • Articulate business value, ROI, and impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Expand adoption into new teams, programs, and sites within customer accounts
  • Apply aerospace and defense domain expertise, including configuration management, program review gates, supplier and prime dynamics, and export-controlled environments
  • Travel to quarterly team weeks, customer on-sites, and industry conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Broad industry exposure in automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, medical devices, or another complex mechanical industry
  • Comfortable presenting to technical and C-level audiences and translating engineering problems into business outcomes
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor technical discussions to different audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple strategic and tactical initiatives in parallel
  • Deep knowledge and experience with CAD/PLM tools
  • Ability to understand use cases and demonstrate industry domain expertise to establish customer credibility
  • Ability to simplify complex topics
  • Mechanical engineering background
  • Real-world experience in product development, engineering processes, and design in an aerospace and defense environment
  • Experience with change management and rolling out new tools or processes in an engineering environment
  • Team-oriented ownership mindset
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create content, deliver demos, and autonomously meet demanding timelines
  • Solutions engineering or customer success experience is a bonus
