About the role

  • Develop and execute PR strategies for both the Philippine and global markets to strengthen brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and official statements.
  • Act as company spokesperson when required and prepare executives for media engagements.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive communications plan aligned with business objectives and market priorities.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all external communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align communications with product launches, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage crisis communications and develop proactive strategies to mitigate reputational risks.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content such as opinion pieces, thought leadership articles, speeches, and social media posts.
  • Identify opportunities for brand storytelling to highlight Coins.ph’s mission, values, and impact.
  • Monitor industry trends to inform content and communication strategies.
  • Track and analyze PR and communications metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership on media coverage, sentiment, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or related roles, preferably in fintech, financial services, or technology.
  • Proven track record in managing media relations and executing PR campaigns in both local and international markets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong crisis management and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech industries is an advantage.
