About the role

  • Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
  • Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used by engineering teams in production (dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration)
  • Write high quality, well tested code
  • Learn, build, improve, and maintain cloud provisioning services written in Golang and Terraform
  • Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using modern cloud technology and best practices
  • Work with engineers and leadership to turn product and technical vision into a quarterly roadmap
  • Provide stellar customer support to internal engineers on cloud provisioning

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Designed, built, scaled, and maintained backend services and infrastructure
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify root causes and resolve them
  • Experience or familiarity with Golang (Go) and Terraform (implied by duties)
  • Experience with cloud provisioning and modern cloud technologies
  • Experience with container orchestration and secrets/storage (e.g., dynamic configuration, secrets storage)
  • Crypto-forward experience (nice to have): interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps
