About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute a territory plan that drives net‑new logo acquisition and expansion within named enterprise and government accounts
  • Build, manage, and advance a high‑value, strategic pipeline
  • Navigate complex enterprise organizations by mapping stakeholders and engaging at the C‑suite and board level
  • Lead customers through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals that tie Cohesity’s platform to customer risk, resilience, and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances to accelerate deal velocity
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and deliver consistent quarterly and annual results
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership to sharpen Cohesity’s go‑to‑market strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience selling into and partnering with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards
  • Customer‑obsessed mindset and passion for cybersecurity
  • Proven enterprise sales experience, ideally spanning infrastructure and SaaS
  • Demonstrated success landing net‑new logos and expanding large enterprise accounts
  • Strong knowledge of data security architectures and ransomware resilience
  • Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale
  • Strong channel DNA, with the ability to co‑sell while maintaining deal ownership
  • Exceptional communication skills, including executive presentations and business case development
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Must have English language proficiency
  • Willingness to travel as required
