About the role

  • Define strategic priorities and product roadmap for Code at Cohere, focusing on enterprise needs and emerging AI capabilities
  • Use deep customer engagement and data to understand developer workflows, identify high-value use cases, and guide product development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across research, engineering, design, product, finance, go-to-market, and marketing
  • Drive product strategy through deep understanding of the competitive AI landscape for developer tools
  • Partner closely with research team to ensure code models remain state-of-the-art and tailored for enterprise
  • Define overall product strategy and roadmap, end-to-end user experience for developers (chat interfaces, IDE plugins, CLIs), go-to-market motion, and feedback loop for research

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience of shipping developer-focused or AI-powered products from concept to launch
  • Passion for developer tools and deep understanding of developer workflows and developer experience (DX)
  • Technical depth to collaborate with research and engineering teams (formal CS background or equivalent hands-on software development experience)
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs or code generation technologies
  • Experience leading and unifying cross-functional teams (research, engineering, design, sales, marketing)
  • Exceptional communication and execution skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
