About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.
  • Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements, and data management practices.
  • Experiment at high velocity and with a high level of quality to engage customers and deliver solutions exceeding expectations.
  • Design and implement deployment strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Travel to customer premises between 20–40%.
  • Serve as a bridge between Cohere’s North product and clients’ engineering teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Experience deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proven experience administering large-scale production Kubernetes clusters.
  • Expertise with Helm.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and virtualization.
  • Ability to execute in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and objectives.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with GPU node orchestration and scheduling is a bonus.
  • Understanding of GPU infrastructure, inference systems, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and performance optimization is a bonus.
