About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.
Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements, and data management practices.
Experiment at high velocity and with a high level of quality to engage customers and deliver solutions exceeding expectations.
Design and implement deployment strategies tailored to client needs.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related technical issues to minimize downtime.
Travel to customer premises between 20–40%.
Serve as a bridge between Cohere’s North product and clients’ engineering teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working directly with customers.
Experience deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments.
Proven experience administering large-scale production Kubernetes clusters.
Expertise with Helm.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Git for version control.
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Strong knowledge of networking and virtualization.
Ability to execute in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and objectives.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Familiarity with GPU node orchestration and scheduling is a bonus.
Understanding of GPU infrastructure, inference systems, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and performance optimization is a bonus.
