Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, supervise, and complete multiple audit engagements simultaneously
Monitor project budgets, manage workflow, and ensure timely and efficient execution under tight deadlines
Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to professional standards
Understand clients' operations, industry dynamics, and business objectives
Engage with clients about emerging needs, concerns, and strategic priorities
Identify opportunities to introduce additional services or innovative solutions
Lead, mentor, and develop audit Seniors and Staff
Delegate responsibilities while maintaining accountability for engagement quality and deadlines
Provide coaching and real-time feedback to support technical development and career progression
Improve audit processes and enhance engagement efficiency
Support Partners in expanding relationships within existing client accounts
Contribute to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–6+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting
Currently performing at the Manager level
CPA license required
Experience leading audit engagements in private company industries, including manufacturing, automotive, distribution, real estate and construction, healthcare, or professional services
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet restrictive deadlines
Exceptional communication, leadership, and client service skills
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
Preferred: experience in a national or Big 4 public accounting firm
Preferred: exposure to multiple private company industries beyond a single core specialty
Preferred: experience mentoring and developing Staff and Senior-level professionals
