About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead audit engagements for hedge funds, private funds, and digital assets clients
  • Work closely with Partners, Seniors, and Staff to understand and meet client expectations and deliverables
  • Assume full responsibility for engagements from planning through issuance
  • Monitor deadlines, deliverables, and Partner expectations
  • Balance and deliver multiple projects under restrictive time constraints
  • Develop understanding of client businesses and industries and identify client needs and concerns
  • Communicate with clients and their staff to provide high-quality client service
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact and build long-term relationships
  • Mentor and coach Staff and Seniors through on-the-job training and feedback
  • Review workpapers and deliverables for technical accuracy and quality
  • Support staff scheduling and resource allocation
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive audit experience
  • Experience auditing Hedge Funds
  • CPA license required
  • Public accounting experience in Financial Services, including Hedge Funds, Private Funds, and/or Digital Assets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a national or Big 4 public accounting firm preferred
  • Prior experience auditing Private Funds and/or Digital Assets clients preferred
  • Experience mentoring and developing Staff-level professionals preferred
