About the role
- Cognyte is an investigative analytics software solutions provider.
- Remote Sales Account Manager will engage US State, Local and Federal agencies to seek new business opportunities and build relationships.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery teams.
- Plan, organize, lead sales growth; penetrate new/under-served accounts; maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain account plans; execute sales strategies aligned with account plans.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Cognyte’s offerings; manage procurement processes.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives; build a pipeline of opportunities.
- Communicate technical understanding; engage pre-sales, engineering, marketing, management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven work experience in SLED and Federal Sales.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Excellent Presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent English
- Experience with sales techniques and tools.
- Previous experience working with Law Enforcement, Financial and Cyber Investigations teams.
- US Citizenship Required
