About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, lead and analyze IT projects in the banking and insurance sectors, from concept through successful implementation
Collaborate with various business units to understand software development requirements and drive project execution
Produce analyses and specify implementation concepts (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
Ensure project goals, milestones and delivery dates are met and that project results comply with quality standards
Identify risks and issues during the project lifecycle and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Work closely with external partners and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics or a similar qualification
Several years of experience in IT projects within the insurance and banking industry
Solid knowledge of software development and experience with agile projects
Familiarity with core/policy-administration systems used by insurers and banks
Proficiency with complex domain data models
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems
Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Fluent German language skills
Team-oriented mindset and the ability to motivate and support colleagues
Willingness to travel regularly and to provide on-site customer support when required
