About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning, management and analysis of IT projects in the insurance environment, from conception to successful implementation
Collaboration with various business units to understand software development requirements and deliver projects accordingly
Preparing analyses and refining implementation concepts (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
Ensuring that project goals, milestones and delivery dates are met and that project results meet quality standards
Identifying risks and issues during project execution and developing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
Close cooperation with external partners and service providers to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics or a similar qualification
Several years of experience in IT projects within the insurance industry
Solid knowledge of software development and experience with agile projects
Familiarity with policy administration/core systems used by insurers
Proficiency in complex domain data models
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems
Excellent communication and presentation skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Very good German language skills
Team-oriented mindset and the ability to motivate and support team members
