About the role
- Planning, management and analysis of IT projects in the insurance domain, from concept through to successful implementation
- Collaborating with various business departments to understand software development requirements and implement projects accordingly
- Preparing analyses and refining implementation concepts (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
- Ensuring project goals, milestones and deadlines are met and that deliverables comply with quality standards
- Identifying risks and issues during project execution and developing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Working closely with external partners and service providers to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Mathematics/Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a similar qualification
- Several years (3–5 years) of experience in IT projects within the insurance industry
- Solid knowledge of software development and experience with agile projects
- Familiarity with policy administration/core systems used by insurers
- Proficiency in handling complex domain data models
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with diverse stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset and the ability to motivate and support colleagues
