About the role
- Planning, management and analysis of IT projects in the insurance domain, from conception to successful implementation
- Collaborating with various business units to understand software development requirements and deliver projects accordingly
- Preparing analyses and defining concrete implementation concepts (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
- Ensuring that project goals, milestones and deadlines are met and that project deliverables comply with quality standards
- Identifying risks and issues during project execution and developing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Working closely with external partners and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Actuarial Science/Mathematical Economics, Mathematics or a related qualification
- Several years of experience in IT projects within the insurance industry
- Solid knowledge of software development and experience with agile project methodologies
- Familiarity with policy administration/core insurance systems
- Proficiency in complex domain data models
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset and the ability to motivate and support colleagues
