About the role

  • Embark on a transformative journey with Cognite, a global SaaS leveraging AI and data (Cognite Atlas AI and Cognite Data Fusion) for industrial digital transformation in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharma, Manufacturing and Energy.
  • Overview: Account Development Representative (ADR) driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads, with focus on manufacturing-sector prospects.
  • Take the lead in outbound prospecting: identify, engage, and qualify key decision-makers in target accounts via personalized outreach (email, phone, social).
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads, run qualification meetings, and transfer high-quality opportunities to the sales team.
  • Collaborate with strategic account executives to develop account intelligence, stakeholder maps, and use-case opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to support campaigns, manage event leads, and nurture prospects through the funnel.
  • Conduct research and account planning, craft personalized messages, continuously optimize outreach, update CRM, and report market insights.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales development within the technology or industrial sector, showcasing your ability to drive results and foster relationships.
  • Proficiency in prospecting using sales tools including Zoominfo, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Outreach, and 6Sense.
  • Experience in the Energy and/or Manufacturing industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Interest and experience within the AI space are highly advantageous.
  • Motivated to design and optimize best practices for the ADR role.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; strong listening and conversational abilities.
  • Ability to understand customer business initiatives, pain points, and requirements and relate them to Cognite's value.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests and time demands while achieving production goals.
  • Eager to learn about the Manufacturing vertical and grow professionally.
  • Comfortable with travel across the US, and occasionally to Canada and Europe.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to deliver results without micromanagement.
  • Experience collaborating with a global team across different time zones.
  • Disciplined, persistent, and possessing strong work ethics.
  • Confident in client interactions, able to establish trust and rapport.
