About the role
- Oversee and manage day-to-day US payroll operations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle end-to-end payroll processes including data input, validation, payroll runs, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of payroll associates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Monitor process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare payroll reports and documentation as required.
Requirements
- 9–12 Years experience in US Payroll
- 5+ years experience handling US payroll operations
- Strong knowledge of US payroll laws, tax regulations, compliance, and multi-state payroll processing
- Excellent people management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage high-volume payroll operations with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working with payroll systems/tools (ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar) is an advantage
