About the role

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day US payroll operations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle end-to-end payroll processes including data input, validation, payroll runs, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of payroll associates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Monitor process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare payroll reports and documentation as required.

Requirements

  • 9–12 Years experience in US Payroll
  • 5+ years experience handling US payroll operations
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll laws, tax regulations, compliance, and multi-state payroll processing
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to manage high-volume payroll operations with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with payroll systems/tools (ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar) is an advantage
