About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform regulatory data entries in the company's academic systems
Perform data entries on government websites
Execute SQL queries on a specific database
Download, organize, and store information from internal systems and external websites
Perform basic data analysis
Prepare and present data analysis reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Merge and analyze data from multiple Excel spreadsheets
Update dashboards in Power BI
Stay up to date with current educational legislation
Prepare reports
Provide support to internal stakeholders on topics within the area's responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree completed or in progress, preferably in IT fields such as Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Database Management, Data Science, or related areas.
Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language): ability to build basic queries (SELECT, FROM, WHERE, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, JOINs). Capable of extracting data from different tables, filtering information, and performing simple aggregations. Basic understanding of how data is stored and organized in relational databases.
Logical and analytical reasoning: ability to analyze data, break down problems, identify patterns, and draw data-driven conclusions.
Ability to identify data inconsistencies, diagnose errors, and propose effective solutions. Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of data and analyses.
Ability to translate analyses into understandable insights for non-technical audiences, both written and verbal.
Microsoft Excel (intermediate): proficiency with functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, IF; pivot tables and conditional formatting for data manipulation.
Microsoft Office (basic): proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (creating and editing documents, basic text formatting, inserting elements and content, review, page layout, creating and managing slides, design and visual formatting).
Teamwork and effective communication skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken Portuguese: clarity and conciseness in writing, appropriate vocabulary, coherence and cohesion, correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Proactivity, curiosity, resilience, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to organize information and documents clearly and objectively.
Preferred: Knowledge of Agile methodology.
Preferred: Knowledge of Brazilian higher education and basic education legislation.
Preferred: Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis (e.g., Pandas and NumPy libraries).
Preferred: Basic knowledge of Power BI (accessing the tool, extracting reports, applying filters, performing updates).
