About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support tax audit and inspection processes, ensuring organization, document control, and compliance with deadlines;
Monitor and update municipal and state Certificates of Tax Clearance (CNDs), ensuring the company's tax compliance;
Assist with the opening, modification, and cancellation of Municipal (IM) and State (IE) tax registrations across different states;
Request, verify, and organize fiscal documents from internal departments to respond to tax inspections;
Support the initial review of tax documentation prior to escalation to the strategic tax team;
Track protocols, requirements, and outstanding issues with the relevant authorities;
Contribute to organizing and improving the controls of the tax unit, ensuring timely and reliable information;
Collaborate with other teams within the tax area, supporting operational and administrative day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related fields;
Basic knowledge of fiscal and administrative routines;
Familiarity with tax registration processes (IM/IE), tax clearance certificates, and responding to tax inspections;
Organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and concurrent tasks;
Basic Excel skills;
Previous experience in tax, fiscal, or administrative areas;
Experience handling tax inspections and compiling supporting documentation;
Knowledge of processes for opening and closing tax registrations.
