About the role

  • Data Management: responsible for managing and organizing rules and standards for data source connections to be used within the tool.
  • Report and Dashboard Creation: create reports and dashboards that present information clearly and understandably for managing and monitoring the environment.
  • Maintenance and Updates: keep the tool updated and functioning correctly.
  • Training and Support: train other users on how to use the tool effectively.
  • Data Security: ensure the tool is secure through user permission configuration and monitoring access to data.
  • Optimization: optimize the use of the tool. This may involve researching new features, improving existing processes, and ensuring the tool is used as efficiently as possible.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Power BI, including its full functionality and capabilities.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Experience importing, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and best practices.
  • Experience training and supporting other Power BI users.
  • Knowledge of data security and experience configuring user permissions.
  • Experience maintaining and updating the Power BI tool.
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues.
  • Knowledge of optimization principles and experience improving the efficiency and effectiveness of tool usage.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Plus: knowledge of data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
  • Knowledge of Python (Pandas, PySpark).
  • Experience with other data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
  • Technical knowledge of Data Lake and BI architecture.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and environment monitoring.
